Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our Publisher Development team and drive Contenta AI’s growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-quality publishers.

You’ll be responsible for developing and converting a strong pipeline of media partners — from independent content creators to mid-sized digital publishers. This role combines business development, sales, and relationship management and will require a deep understanding of digital publishing and ad tech.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and prospect new publisher partners across key verticals (news, finance, lifestyle, niche blogs, etc.)
  • Own the end-to-end sales process: outreach, discovery, pitch, negotiation, and onboarding
  • Communicate Contenta AI’s value proposition clearly, especially around AI-driven content tools and monetization solutions
  • Maintain and grow an active pipeline of leads, using creative outreach to drive engagement
  • Stay well-informed on the digital publishing and programmatic advertising landscape
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Publisher Success) to ensure seamless onboarding and retention
  • Provide feedback from prospects to inform product development and go-to-market strategy
  • Support and represent Contenta AI at industry events, webinars, and strategic meetings (travel approx. 20−30%)
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Publisher Partnerships, or Sales within ad tech, martech, or digital media
  • Demonstrated success in a full sales cycle, particularly in a startup or fast-paced SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of online advertising (programmatic, header bidding, Google Ad Manager, etc.) and content publishing workflows
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and collaboration platforms (e.g. Slack, Notion, Google Workspace)
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team
  • Passion for helping publishers and creators grow their business using innovative tech
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with or selling into media companies, bloggers, or online content creators
  • Exposure to SEO tools, GenAI platforms (e.g. OpenAI, Jasper), or analytics platforms
  • Understanding of data-driven monetization strategies and yield optimization
